Welcome

Women in Intelligence and National Security

Women in Intelligence and National Security (WINS) was founded in 2016 as the first undergraduate student-led group of its kind in the nation. It is a diverse organization of women and men, which seeks to enhance diversity and inclusion in the intelligence field and affiliated professions. It does so by empowering its members with the necessary tools to realize their future personal and professional ambitions.

Membership in WINS is open to students of all majors, faculty, staff and alumni of Coastal Carolina University, irrespective of gender. To join WINS, and to participate in regular meetings, activities and events, please click on the appropriate link on our website menu.

WINS is supported by the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies (ISS) at Coastal Carolina University. The ISS Department offers a multi-disciplinary program that prepares students for positions in career fields that involve analysis, research, evaluation, and planning of intelligence and policy matters. The WINS project is also supported by Coastal Carolina University’s Women’s and Gender Studies program, which is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of gender in society.
